Notice how on the old core the tubes have all been very poorly "Aero-Brazed" in to the header. This picture is looking straight down onto the old core header once the tank has been removed.

This is a picture of the new core.  You are looking at the header and tube joints.  Notice the high quality of the individually welded joints.   We are now ready to start welding the tanks onto the new core.  Click here to see the 5th STEP in the charge-air re-core process.
